I would have been cheering every 3 pointer the Mastadons made.

If IU beats Tennessee Tech on Thursday, are they back again? I'd just kind of like to know how that works...when they are back and when they are not.

I've come to the conclusion that the poor years of Crean coaching has set a culture where every player is looking towards the next level. Give a guy like Painter, Bo Ryan, Beilein a player like Robert Johnson and he would be at least sniffing the next level. Unfortunately he plays like a 10 year old playing CYO ball in Indy.

I don’t agree with you often, but you’re right on this one. We need the Crean-coached players gone. When IU has been able to control the tempo and run Archie’s schemes, they’ve looked good. I thought the Duke game was very well coached.

Our major problem is that all our opponent has to do to throw us off is speed the game up. Our senior guards immediately revert to Crean ball and we don’t have a point guard that can lead the team at that pace. On the defensive end, they aren’t used to playing team defense and miss rotations which is resulting in a lot of open threes. I know that’s a weakness of the pack line defense but the IU players aren’t rotating properly and our opponent doesn’t have a defender within 6 feet when they shoot.

And shouldn't that "signature win" against ND last weekend be reclassified as "Lil' Archie's fool's gold victory"?
