Fall Football Roster

Buckner wore 44 in college. Not a single digit, but not a traditional DL number.

Did you have an issue with Ayodele wearing 13 or Phillips wearing 15 and 22?

I may be wrong, but I thought Phillips originally wore #51. Then, he was asked to switch to a lower number that would allow him to be an eligible receiver in goal line situations and avoid being announced as such. The first year of the switch, only #1 and #15 were available, and out of respect he wasn't crazy about taking Brees' old number, but relented.
