Notre Dame is slated to start 13 Seniors on Saturday while Purdue is likely to open up with only six Seniors.Maybe this means something, maybe it wont.

It means that this team is still relatively young and hopefully will be more stable and talented in the next couple of years, assuming Brohm doesn't sh$t the bed and get fired...let's hope for the sake of the program there's some stability.

Yeah, Brohm’s two top classes are Sophomores and Juniors this year and they have been starting for 2 years now for the most part. Next year will be our most talented group of upperclassmen in a while. Unfortunately the top two will probably be in the NFL next year so that will hurt. Still should be the best combination of talent and experience we have had since the Tiller days.

To me, if this team goes out and looks the part and even loses by 14 points.. but that environment doesn’t make what we’ve seen the first two weeks completely unravel, that is still gonna be good for this team.

Don’t conflate age with experience. Karlaftis & Bell aren’t seniors, but they clearly hold up in comparison to any seniors in the country. I’m not sure who else you’ve got in the jr class that have played a lot of ball, but I’m sure it’s not a small number.
