Excitement Building

With all the positive news slowly but surely building around the Football Program, new Head Coach and Assistants, with histories of playing exciting offensive AND defensive schemes, facilities upgrade at Ross-Ade and the Football facilities, first two commits for the Class of '18, lights, etc., I AM getting excited for the start of the football season and watching the Boilers once again. Upgraded performance will ultimately lead to higher numbers in the win column and put more fannies in the seats.

THANK YOU to the powers that be in doing what you can and did in SUCH a short period of time!!!!!

Just wondering if there are any planned changes to our uniforms and three helmets for the upcoming season that I can find since that seems to be about the only area that hasn't been touched or talked about?

They just changed the unis last year. I doubt they are significantly altered for another 3 seasons

I wholeheartedly agree with all your comments. I have 2 recommendations which both compliment TD's.

1) Multiple Train Horns mounted N, S, E, or W to get the full effect of the TD just scored. Set at 100-105 dB.
Source of Train Horn ... make it similar to the Columbus Blue Jackets, Boston Bruins, or Chicago Blackhawks.

2) Bring back the ROTC's with the Howitzer and Synch it to the Train Horn like the Columbus Blue Jackets Train Horn.

To me that is exciting and entertaining. People want to come to the games when there is some celebration.
I'm not a hockey fan overall, but I love watching their celebrations. Check out the top highlight video of game 5 last night. Look at the arena on the scores.

I've been excited for the changes too, it'll be a slow process but that's fine, cause if it's too quick the big boys will come poachin around at least at the assisstants. I'm just going to sit back and watch this evolve into something that we will be proud of. This AD and coach know what they are doing.

They can change their helmet decals with next to no cost since they must re-stock those every year. Same probably goes with uniforms since they wear out playing on turf and grass!

I guess it is up to the Head Coach and his want to with a fresh start to everything and was wondering if he is!

Iirc, they are committed to a uni design for a set number of years so Nike can distribute the replica jerseys.
