Ever hear of Dillon Taylor of Salt Lake?

Most of the reasons the situation in St. Louis became a big news story was because of the protests. If you remember, things didn't "boil over" until several days after the actual shooting. With this shooting, there hasn't been mass protests every day for a week.

Secondly, in this situation, a group of officers of mixed races were present when the incident occurred.

Also, the Salt Lake police seem to have a grasp on how to handle things. Their chief is a huge proponent or officers wearing cameras and several different investigations of the incident by various groups are taking place.

Whether you feel the St. Louis situation was fueled by the race card or not, the handling of the situation by the police was pretty terrible, I haven't seen anyone that's not hellbent on politics not agree with that. Even the state police came in and were critical of the handling.

So much of what becomes news has to do with PR. If you handle a situation well, it won't be talked about. If you fumble the handling and create more controversy, it will be talked about more. Salt Lake has handled their situation well, St. Louis did not.

Why is that? Well, because of a false narrative pushed by the MSM and so-called black leaders. Also, because black grievance and black anger at The System have been promoted (and unfortunately rewarded) for decades. There weren't protests because of what actually happened between Brown and Wilson.

So?

Things? You mean like rioting and looting? Its better said that the people of Salt Lake have a better grasp on how to handle things. The police in Ferguson did not cause any rioting or looting.

The national media didn't really come onto the scene until after the riots started taking place. This was a local issue that turned national.

To lump all protesters as one is silly. Were there bad apples in there? Most definitely. But again, we go back to the police handling of it. Police showed an unusual amount of force for a what at the time was a peaceful protest. Even Fox News made comments about how unusual it was from police. They went at peaceful protesters....which set off the looting, and guess what, the police did nothing to stop the looting. Literally stood and watched it happen. That makes no sense. The police were part of the reason that this got "ramped up" and you couldn't find one person who isn't extremely biased to tell you the police handled this situation over the first week well. Then on top of that, you have a police officer get relieved of duty for pointing a semi-automatic weapon at a protester saying "I'm going to f-ing kill you" and now you have a video from a St. Louis officer going on a very weird rant to put it nicely.

Show me the wrongdoing by the police in Salt Lake. That situation has been handled to the tee how it should be from day one. To compare them as the same is just not accurate.
