Colvin seems odd. Maybe he just misplaced it, or visa issues????

You would assume everything else was in order as he played internationally with team USA a few short weeks ago, and didn't have any issues in the other countries he visited in the beginning of this Purdue trip.

What is the damn score.,....this has been the worst reporting I have ever been exposed to, it has not been the same since the breakup, still reading articles a week old..it is not worth the money.

I wonder if it was expiring in 6 months and that caused issues or something? All speculation but what a weird issue all of a sudden on the last part of the trip.

Yeah, you don't need a passport anymore to get from country to country in the EU after initial arrival.

I had forgotten about that which makes the story even more interesting.

Curious what exactly happened.

I didn't see the stream so wondering if anyone watched and could see if he was on the bench/at the game? Or did he have to head home?

It’s safe to say TKR deserves major minutes this upcoming season.
I'm trying to not get too jazzed as the competition has been pretty weak.
But it's exciting as H*** to think that we might have another alpha scorer ready to "come out".
Though he has to live in Zack's world so it might not be an easy transition.
Throw in a possible 3d "big time scorer" in Colvin and it's hard to keep a smile from my face.
And then add what we might get at the 3 this year.................
And I thought/think that Brandon/Fletcher improvement would rival anyones.
On paper and against weak competition to date, this is one loaded team.

why I'm saying we need to win the dang thing this year.

Final Score:
Purdue 71 BK Brno 61

TKR: 24 & 15
Furst: 16 & 7
Smith: 6, 8 assts, 7 rebs and 4 stls
Berg: 8 and 6
Jones: 6 and 4 assts
For whatever reason...Braden usually great at the line has shot poorly. I have faith it will change, but it still surprised me. Course I think the collective has not shot well at the line either...

Waddell, bad game?
O points. 4 rebounds, 1 assist. Did have 3 blocks.

11 points in last three games. Ended up averaging 6.5 points, 1 assist, and 3.75 rebounds per game. 8th leading scorer on the trip and two guys only played 3 games.
After a good first game, I'm not sure he really moved the needle that much.

Holy crap you depressive, miserable twat.

Go get some vitamin D and feel the grass.

This summer trip is akin to spring football. We're not going to be able to tell shit until game 1 or so.
Especially since Edey and Morton didn't play.

I would say it was nice to see Colvin play in game situations. I hadn't seem him play before. Seems like he may be a nice piece.

Thank you for the info. Appreciated.

Considering the 2nd and 3rd games were jokes I'm not going to pay attention to the scoring aspect....the 3 blocks were impressive and his +/- was really good as well...he is a really good defender, his shot looks good, both better than Morton....that's why I think if he's healthy he will take mortons minutes at the 3...we need efficiency from the 3 this year...smith is our primary creator, Zach is our primary option, loyer or jones will be who we run our offense through....the 3 needs to be a good defender and hit open shots....waddells length, break running, passing and good shooting % will be what's needed...Colvin can shoot too but he has a long way to go defensively and his passing is spotty...he has a ways to go to pass Waddell at the 3....hopefully both beat out Morton at that spot....

I would add we need the same efficiency out of the 2, as the 3.

The main thing I got from the trip apparently, the 4 looks like it will be more productive this year. That is great news.

When you say offense run through Loyer, the offense will create shots for him, or opportunities. But you think the same would be for Jones? Think he’s a good enough shooter?

I think Colvin will play some 2 as well as Loyer and Jones as long as his shooting remains consistently good. Shot creation for the 2 requires production from whoever is in the spot.

Yeah agreed on Loyer and Colvin, just surprised Jones was included in there for our offense to run through…didn’t think he would be a player we’d look to do that with.

perhaps a nuance here and you were specific with your language about shot creation. I find it quite common that when a creator is mentioned by coaches, they are discussing the play of one to create for the other...not find a way of getting a shot off. RElative to the other site there was a mention a few times that Jaden was a creator and yet he never really created shots for others, but a very few times. In contrast, Braden is a creator which is more typical for the 1 than other positions. I don't believe that was your context, but I have no desire to call anyone out for it here on on the other site. It is just that I find some fans using language that may be confusing. Here you are only stating (I believe) that the 2 should be pretty good those times that the player is capable of being efficient on his own "as needed". Actually, I agree and hope all have some ability in that, even if not used much for some positions.

Jones can get in the lane....we set a number of high ball screens to get him going downhill in Europe....when loyer or smith are not in the game, we will look for him as one of our primary scorers/facilitators.....I don't know if we'll be able to trust Colvin this year to create offense...my guess is that he will be a corner 3 point shooter or a guy we tell that if he's on the break shoot it or take it to the rim....his passing is very iffy right now and Painter is really trying to limit turnovers....him playing one position and excelling there would be a good role this year for him....maximize his athletic ability by putting him in scoring positions, not being a creator like Smith, Jones, or loyer....

if he lost it, they probably thought it was a good idea to head over the nearest consulate to get it sorted out vs playing a game.

Fair but don’t you think there would be a central person in charge of holding those and managing them? Think of a team mom - person who has passports, boarding passes, hotel reservations etc?
