If anyone wants to follow the tournament & action, Ethan Morton & Team USA play in the FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup next week in Mongolia.

USA went 2-0 today. The replays are up on that link above.

Stats are very limited. And by limited, literally points scored. Ethan didn't score in the first game and then was second leading scorer second game with 6 of USA 21 points. Dawson Garcia led the team in scoring both games.

I watched both games and Ethan was outstanding in the first one particularly... passing, defense, loose balls and a couple nice drives as well

I might add... his teammates Askew and Garcia are very impressive offensively

Garcia is the real deal. I wish Purdue was more actively pursuing him. He would be awesome to close out this class. I thought Askew was a bit of a black hole. He never gave up the ball once he had it except for one nice pass to Morton for a jam. He finished at the rim well though.

Well according to 247 we are on his list. Though that's in an article highlighting teams off to a fast recruiting start (Purdue was #5). Article here:

I knew we offered, but I never see any mentions about Purdue and him together lately. This is the first one in awhile. Would be nice.

In that article I see they dropped Morton to 121 and moved Ivey to 124. Seems low on both.

Dickinson visited Louisville last weekend. It looks like he is waiting until the Fall to announce his decision.

Idk if this is me crossing my fingers but with how much time Morton has spent on this USA 3x3 team with Garcia that could be a plus in him maybe coming to Purdue.

Marquette and X were after Garcia. Justin Lewis is visiting Marquette and Carlson showing up with X on 247 so maybe things have opened up for Garcia. Morton playing with him has to help us.
