Here is an insider article on ESPN, basically a wrap up of Purdue and what to expect next year from the Boilers, and yes you will notice a GLOWING error, other than that I think they are pretty spot on.

Possible 2015-16 starting five[/B]

G: Brenton Scott

G: Rapheal Davis

G: Kendall Stephens

F: Vince Edwards

C: A.J. Hammons
Who is lost:[/B] The Boilermakers have only one senior in their rotation this season. Jon Octeushas been a key contributor this season, bringing athleticism, toughness and plenty of intangibles. There is a chance Hammons might explore his NBA possibilities, which would have a larger impact.
Who is added:[/B] Grant Weatherford is one of the toughest players you'll see in 2015. He is coach Matt Painter's type of player.
What it means for next season:[/B] Next to Indiana, Purdue might return the best roster in the Big Ten. The Boilermakers return six of their top seven scorers. Point guard play will be the key, but the Boilermakers need only solid play there. The rest should take care of itself. If everyone returns, there is no reason Purdue won't be among the top four in the Big Ten again next season.
Trending:[/B] Up: With pretty much the whole roster returning, Purdue should be a consensus preseason top-25 team.

I saw that and was like, "you have got to be kidding"

Must have been written by an IU journalist grad. Our returning roster is much better than IU's (see 2 games against them this year). Add in Cline and GW and I think you have a top 20 team. Unless IU gets a big and learns how to play D, they may end up in the NIT next year.

The other part I like, as much as I would want Stephens to start due to his potential, Mathias is the incumbent. Barring some huge offseason by Stephens, Mathias is the starter at least at the beginning of next year. I am not sure this person actually watched a Purdue game. BRYSON Scott barely played at the end of the year and Thompson was serviceable. Once again Scott has more potential but just based on end of year playing time, one would think thompson is the front runner for that spot. This person clearly did not watch any Purdue basketball.

Is it confirmed 100% that Bryson is transferring??

No, it's not. I wish people would stop saying that.

If Bryson could commit, find his focus, and turn it around ala Ray D this season, he could be a fantastic/unstoppable PG. Super fast, athletic, tough as nails on D, playing smart, he could really blossom. It is possible, and I'd like to see it happen.

What? Who said he was transferring? You do realize people are making fun of ESPN for talking about the wrong Scott brother, right?
