Turned on the WVU game near the end and I thought there was a large graphic saying WVU was the only team to not have a loss in the United States. Did anyone else see this? I guess they think the Bahamas is now a US territory?

Layoffs are hitting them hard

Given their political bent, I bet they think the U.S. is comprised of 57 states.

Jay Williams said Purdue was the best team in the country tonight. I have heard that Purdue is undefeated on American soil many times from them recently. The ESPN bashing is getting old. Just watch the damn games people. We may actually have the best team in the country. Marinate on that for a minute.

Its crazy, there are some real weirdos who only hear, and go hunting for, any perceived slight

I agree. I did not see ESPN hate tonight. Seth Greenberg also liked us for cutting the nets down this year. How can we get more love than that?

Didn't watch the WVU game so did not see that.

Seriously. Do you realize who they have doing those types of stats? 18 year olds. When I was in college, the day before a football game I watched film for ESPN and counted a couple stats they wanted to use in a game. I was hungover and maybe 19?

It's really not worth getting upset about.

It's the same people who want to make everything a political battle. Us vs them. I always chuckle when they want to whine about participation trophies and tell people to go to their safe space, then try to launch into a social justice crusade of their own because someone disagreed with them. How are people in their 50s and 60s so thin skinned? Focus on what unites us - Purdue bball

I expect -- obviously futilely -- a modicum of professionalism from major networks, particularly concerning information that is so basic and easy to verify. I couldn't care less if an intern or SVP is disseminating that information.

From Roy Firestone talking about Gene "Keedy" back in the 1980s, Rob Stone stating that Purdue is in Illinois, that fool play-by-play guy in the Michigan and Arizona games calling us PUR-do, and this latest inaccuracy, I don't think it's unreasonable to call out or mock such a lack of professionalism from "The Worldwide Leader" and other outlets.

On the other hand perhaps I'm a snowflake and I need to deal better with such microaggressions. I will now retire to my safe space with puppies and coloring books.
