I haven't checked recruiting updates since early signing day. Not much movement, a couple new commits here or there but nothing notable. But apparently ESPN sent out a wave of rating updates and Brady Allen got bumped from an 80 to an 82. He's ranked 203rd in their overall ESPN 300 players, and 10th ranked pro-style QB.
I weigh ESPN ratings pretty significantly less than Rivals or 247sports (and this is based on data on higher ratings = higher likelihood of being drafted) so he only gets a bump on my site from 4.235 stars to 4.270 stars, but this does break a tie with MSU's QB recruit Katin Houser to be the Big Ten's 3rd-highest rated QB behind Penn State's Drew Allar (4.711 stars) and Ohio State's Devin Brown (4.589 stars). By a split hair he also actually jumps Maliq Carr and Rondale Moore to be our 3rd-highest rated recruit in the modern recruiting era.
