This board never ceases to set a new bar in insecurity.
There are posts that claim that CS might not care about the psyche of the fanbase, or "I can't think of a logical reason why CS wouldn't have announced for Purdue by now if he's coming here".
Really?!
I'd be disappointed if he was concerned about the psyche of the fanbase. Crap, if I ever have a kid that's recruited in sports, the last thing I want him to be worrying about is all the keyboard jockey chicken littles whose self worth seems to be hanging on their every tweet.
Can't think of any logical reason he would wait this long to choose Purdue?!
Maybe he made a mistake with the first announcement and wants to be absolutely sure before he makes another one? That's just off the top of my head!
People are going to see what they want to see, it's just crazy how they're often completely blind to other possibilities. There are so many possible outcomes to this scenario, latching on to only the negative ones takes some real talent. I know, "until CMP shows me he can land a 5-star, I have a right to be negative, history is on my side". Yeah, that's your prerogative, I guess. Man, life must really suck to never hope/believe for anything better.
I find it interesting that these posters don't show up until there's some hint of negative drama.
I inferred from another post that this is what makes some people happy. Geez, I hope that's not true.
