What's the story behind Tyler? Just wanted to go to a bigger program?

He only gets a scholly if we don't recruit a full roster. He will be a tough nosed practice player.
Yes which is why "I said at some point"....Painter rewards walk-ons and so did Gene Keady toward the end JR. or Sr. years it seems if scholly available.

It's just as likely no scholarships are available during his 4 years and he never gets one. Saying he will get one at some point isnt necessarily true.

Didn't say it was true but just my opinion that if he works hard he will be rewarded for his efforts.

If I could predict the future I sure as hell wouldn't be here chatting with you over this shit.

Just my opinion...he is a good kid, that is a legacy, that knows what it means to be a Boilermaker and is proud.

If he puts in the effort he will be rewarded if a scholly is available.....which in my opinion will happen at some point in his 4 years.

Geesh.....

Based on the history of the program, it's much more likely that there will be an open scholarship. Having a full roster of recruited scholarship players has been a rare occurrence at Purdue.
