Expecting gloom and doom or an upset special?

Personally, I think we have a competitive game, but a loss. If special teams was performing above average, I would feel better. Field position and gaining 3 points consistently when needed would be a nice feeling. When special teams comes out the last few games, I have my Tums / Pepto Bismol close by.

Would love the Spoilermakers to come out and beat MSU, but I'm not as hopeful as others might be. NOTE: Wasn't hopeful last week either so it shows what I know.

Lee Corso and Nick Lachey just picked Purdue on College Gameday. Kirk Herbstreit picked Sparty since Mel Tucker is a disciple of Nick Saban and will be prepared. Doesn’t Kirk realize that we had Saban’s number when he was at MSU?

The too much talk about an upset argument is lame... it's about emotion. Purdue has a better chance to be up for this game with all of the players on this roster from Michigan and playing against a top-5 team.

This is a trap game. MSU coming off of a huge win against their rival. A lot praise, awards and media attention this past week <---- a lot of distraction for the Spartans.

On the other hand, Purdue has not played well in its last 2 home games. Purdue was flat against Minn and Wisky. If Purdue brings its "A" game today and if MSU is let down from last week, watch out!

Lastly, Purdue has knocked off the #2 ranked team in Iowa. Purdue does have a confidence of doing it again.
