I didn't watch, but the box score looks pretty good in regards to Edwards at least. Great to see him being aggressive. I hate the fact we just lost to Iowa, but it is good to see Edwards stepping up his game. To me to beat Iowa, you have to be able to keep up with their scoring. Unfortunately, they have more scorers than we do and subsequently left us in the dust when they caught fire (again just going by the box score and from the posts below). Let's hope Purdue peaks late in the year, say around mid-March and goes on a hellacious run of their own.

There was a discussion at the start of the year about who would be the guy who could create his own shot when needed. Basically, whose hands do you want the ball in as time is winding down and you need to make something happen. I think the answer is pretty clear now. No one else on this team has his ability to both get into the lane and finish, pass, and score from outside. Sure, his box score looks a lot better when those 3's are going down, but he provides a multi-dimensional threat that I believe opens things up for others regardless.
I think this is just the beginning for Vince. He has tons more upside

I think he is gonna end up being a Big Ten player of the year type when he's a senior - he's finally driving the ball more now and realizing we need his offense
