Pretty,clear that Vince is our most versatile player right now. His only real deficiency I see is not being able to feed the post. That said, Iowa is just a bad match up for Purdue.

Iowa shot over 50% from the three. That is hard to match. They shot 11/13 3's in the second half of the first game. I did not see any lack of effort on our part. I saw a senior-lead Iowa team play better than our sophomores and freshmen. Our kids gave it their all, and you are right, effort like that does start at the top. Painter's teams are well known for their effort.

You should also realize that I am highly suspicious of posters with a low post count making statements that are like yours, which I have quoted. Often we have an infestation of trolls and emotionally immature fans after a loss. Don't be like that.

Give us 2 points on the floor and PJ is our best threat from 3 right now.

I didn't think we came out as energized either half. We settled in the first half, but tended to panic in the second half.

i am not trolling just a disappointed purdue fan. this iowa team is really good and very tough for a younger team to really challenge on the road. this is a very good purdue team that is tough, as to my low post , i read alot of threads and the negitivty of the post get crazy and irritating so in the future i will clarify my thoughts.

I would like to see Vince be the go to guy when we need a bucket. If he keeps improving I think he can be that guy. Pj's has been a pleasant surprise for me all year are most consistent shooter the last couple of games.
