They showed clips of Drew Brees and how unstoppable he was because of how he understood depth and open field and where receivers were going.

The announcers just commented that Alabama is putting another $300 million into their stadium. What more could they do to that stadium?

I think it is $800MM overall for their facilities. Of course nothing for the library.

I graduated with honors from Purdue and Northwestern and have maybe stepped into the library five times. It’s 2018 and libraries are inefficient and a waste of time.

I know this post was TIC, but any school dumping hundreds of millions into a library is wasting hundreds of millions.

High tech computer labs, yes. Updating online and digital learning platforms, yes. Updating security systems, yes. Updating the Dewey decilmal system, nah.

If you knew it was tongue and cheek then why did you respond with what you did? Odd.

I have a close friend, who got a scholarship to play for Bear Bryant at Alabama, for the 1959 season. He broke his arm and collar bone during an extremely tough pre season practice. They took his scholarship away after 1 semester. He returned to Indiana, played for St. Joseph and still holds all their rushing records. Now he forever will. Anyway he has absolutely nothing good to say about Alabama or Bryant.
