I said the same thing. It's Easter Sunday and most have plans during the day. Well the plans got moved forward now.Really? Really!? Elite 8 not even close to prime time?

Really hated to see Duke knock off Houston. Hopefully NC State can beat them. Although beating Duke in the FF would be OK too, I guess.

Jamal Shead going down early in that game arguably was the difference. Duke can make plays, but not the match-up like Houston was. Some conventional wisdom pointed to three teams really having the toughest match-up for Purdue even with it playing well. Ironically, all in Purdue's direct path......One (Houston) is gone. Purdue plays another (Tennessee) next.......many can guess who the 3rd one is.
That's not to say any of the other teams couldn't win the tournament - you have all eight teams left playing well and deserving to be continuing......Purdue is in a great position, but it's a huge challenge as well.
I've seen Rick Barnes' teams play for decades, going back to Clemson....he did make one Final Four with Texas in '03.....Purdue knows they have to be ready.......will they be? Entire season is on the balance tomorrow afternoon - but that's what competitors should want, IMO. It's a great opportunity.......but with that comes the potential for great disappointment......we shall see.
