Win the coin toss, elect to receive, and then score in the first series?

I say they have the potential to do just that. I liked it when Drew B. and company won the toss and took the field. I always felt that showed a high degree of confidence in the offense.

We have that ability now. I don't think Brohm lacks confidence in our offense. I believe he likes to have the ball to start the second half in case he needs to do adjustments at halftime and start the second half off well.

With the pass rush that Purdue should be bringing in, playing with a lead will be advantage. I can’t wait for the talent of that ‘19 class to start taking the field. Brohm will have a lot more options and can open up the playbook. Should be fun, and I am glad we can even ask this question.

Our skill positions will be young and oustanding.

We loose a lot of the contributers on the O-line including Barren, Swingler, Edwards, & Evans. The young guys will need to be ready to step up.

The TE group should be solid with Hopkins returning and a host of talented younger returners and additions.

At RB we loose our two most productive but return two with solid game experience and add two that I think will be very good.

We return a QB with solid starting experience and a young talented one just itching to be the next starter.

It will be interesting to see how the offense does next year. We will certainly have play makers ready to make plays. We need good O-line play to get the ball to them. I hope our younger O-line guys are up to the challenge. I think we will see some improvement, but I don't think it will be massive. I think we are 2 years away from that. We are deffinitely moving in the right direction.

I’ve always thought it depends on the opponent. If you have one that you think a quick or dominating drive and score to begin the game would take the air out of them, then take it. But for the most part, I like the chance of having back-to-back possessions that deferring makes possible.

I am anxious to see Worship next year. We got stopped too many times on 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1. He will be able to help keep drives going that seemed to stall at certain points in some games this year that we should have won. Our passing game is just going to be incredible with the talent we are going to have.

Development of the Line Play on both sides of the ball becomes even bigger in 2019.
Even with talented incoming freshman,I see growing pains on both sides..........

I am concerned about the DT position, especially if Neal is not 100% going into game one.
I think our OL will be young, but will be able to gel. I think they will be more athletic than the line this year.
