Does Haas travel as much as he gets called for?

I felt like there were a significant number of times this year when he made good moves, kept a foot planted and was still called for the travel? Did anyone else see the same or am I just biased? I know that there's been a lot of talk about how hard it is to officiate fouls with him on the court, but this to me is an issue as well.

If that does appear to be the case, do refs just not know how to officiate post moves anymore since no one makes them? Not to compare Haas to McHale or Hakeem, but I feel like with the double and triple moves those guys made (while keeping their post foot planted), today's college refs would call them for a travel every time.

Most teams don't have a post player. It is hard for the refs to know how to officiate a big. It is sad

Many times his pivot foot did move, but only because he was being shoved with 2 hands off his spot.

Many times a ton of others moved their pivot foot before starting to dribble and the refs didn't call it. While I grant you Haas seemed to be hosed at times, I think all bigs get called for that in college while guards travel frequently and it isn't called.

Another I like is the supposed hesitation dribble which is pretty hard to do without palming the basketball.

I think Haas does travel when it's called. The real difference is that the guards travel far more frequently but very seldom get called.

Yes, he does travel some. At the same time he is often fouled creating a look that he travels. Poor officiating (and very difficult) on many of his calls.
