No but we can take home every piece of loose turf we can find to pick up.

Every fan could get a free piece of that crappy turf and there would be plenty left.

I got a trophy, actually 24 little ones housed in a cardboard box. After the UNC win this afternoon I started enjoying them. Good day to be a Boiler football and basketball fan. Can say I’ve said that very often.
Well, a couple of points.
One, the people who maintain these fields are incredibly gifted, and true professionals. Those baseball fields are unbelievably well-maintained.
Two, there is absolutely NO WAY we should have ever agreed to play on that field. Sod was put down and would never, EVER have time to develop any root system. It's like a piece of remnant carpet lying on top of vinyl flooring ... someone is going to slip on it.
