as for Parker, he has some good qualities, but it appears others have better and more. Parker was credited as being Hazell's best recruiter. It's pretty clear Hazell didn't do any recruiting. Parker tried all year to recruit Edwards, and he got nowhere. Within less than a month after being hired, Shepard went to Florida with Edwards as a top priority, and no only got him to commit, but Edwards also signed an LOI to enroll early. Shepherd also got George Moore to commit to Washington St. When Shepherd left, Moore decommitted. I have more confidence in Shepherd's recruiting ability. As for Parker's coaching skills, it's obvious Brohm will be calling the plays. and he has Shepard at WR and Levine at TE. I'm not sure I'd want parker as a defensive coach. I don't see a future place for him on Brohm's staff.
I think it's time to say thanks for taking over a bad situation, and press on with an entirely new coaching staff.
