There was a dust-up with a d-bag hockey player in which he was trying to use her to get girls.

DJ Byrd is certainly...random though.

I read this and laughed. Really, it makes more sense now that you know he was involved in a trick shot competition? That kind of thing normally results in a cash prize, a trip of some sort, etc... or pretty much anything other than a "date" with a 40-year old porn star. This is basically the equivalent of winning a hooker in a raffle contest!

Side note... I remember back when the board had a field day when it was reported the ND football player was allegedly going out with this same, uh... shall we say... woman of negotiable virtue. If you were one of those people, you gotta own this.

Well at least DJ didn't post a pic of them in bed together.

But DJ Byrd did a trick shot video a couple years back and was really good at it. So not surprising he would win this. While it's certainly still random, I don't think it's necessarily the "same" level. And plus, DJ is not a current student.

Basketball competitions and their related winnings/prizes don't normally have a strong correlation to a "night o' fun" with a pornstar. Or if they do, I guess I should have worked harder on my blind-folded, hook-shot, opposite-end free throw a little harder when I was 15 or 16 . The point I was trying to make in my earlier post, is that when I read your post, you sounded like Guy 2 below:

Guy 1: Did you hear DJ went out with a dirty ol' pornstar nearly twice his age?
Guy 2: No way, really?! Wow, I wonder what's up with that?
Guy 1: He made a trick shot in a basketball competition.
Guy 2: Oh, well, yeah. You should have said so sooner.

I think you're taking this a bit too seriously. Like I said, he didn't tweet a picture of them in bed together like the ND football player. And he's not in college and is not a Purdue student-athlete anymore. And considering she usually goes after NBA players, I don't think DJ Byrd is her dream man.
