He could use this year as a regular redshirt year too. However, if healthy next year, redshirt or medical redshirt won't matter. He will enter the draft.

This season was a bust. No reason for him or Neal to risk additional injury for this season...

If Moore wants to play in 2022, he will be able to because he only played 4 games this year. Really this year is about that year, not any other. Either way he can still leave for the NFL after the 2020 season. I don't know if it's automatic that he will be considered a RS Soph next year or if it's something Purdue technically has to designate.
