MSU beat themselves just like Purdue this year. The same can be said for Maryland and Iowa. All four had legit shots at winning the conference had they not failed to execute.

IU had a nice schedule and the timing worked out great for them. But they won the games they needed to win for whatever reason and the other four teams didn't. Simple as that.

I don't think anyone thinks IU is the best team in the league. Probably 3rd best. There are only 2 teams that are playing their best ball this week from the B1G. Those two teams meet today to determine who has the momentum heading into the tourney. As it should be.
