Derrick Jackson Leaving

Saw that CB coach Derrick Jackson is leaving us to go to go Northern Illinois to be their DC. I really hate to see that. He has been a good coach, and been an incredible recruiter for our team.

I wish him the best in his new role though! We will miss him!

Jackson's name seems to be in the midst of a lot of our recruiting successes. I agree that it will be a big loss in that facet. On the field who knows.

Hopefully our success in the backfield by our recent recruits will lead to others wanting to follow the path he created. I must admit he was a stellar recruiter.

We all knew with our success, other teams would start coming after our assistant coaches. I wish him well. It's a good step.
