He's up 21 against Christ (a decent Statewide candidate) in the latest poll. Up huge w/Independents and plus with Hispanics. Time to tell your guy to sit the next one out. And to pipe down in SC before the Rs lose House 1.

I don't think he'll lose either. Just pointing out facts
The UNF poll is the most recent, not Mason Dixon. Just pointing out the facts. And the MD has a slightly higher MoE. Just pointing out the facts. Also looking at the internals the UNF should be more favorable to Christ than MD (Gender, Party affiliation). So it’s surprising. Actually bring up 8 in a diverse and populous State like FL shows very broad appeal. But here it is so I can just point out the facts.

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/e.../florida_governor_desantis_vs_crist-7324.html

And to point out that women skew to the democratic candidate is like pointing out the sky is blue.

Let’s see how biased you are. In a national debate between Desantis v. Biden/Harris/Mayor Pete/AOC who you got?

And then match up my undercard of Rice/Haley/Sununu/T. Scott v. yours. Who you got?

This will give me a good gauge of where you are at.

Don’t forget my man Pence

Don’t forget my man Pence
Pence won’t be a VP again. And he won’t be President. Compare the 4 VP candidates I put forth vs. current. Can’t imagine any would find a question about 2 million refugees an appropriate time to laugh.

Sununu is the wildcard. Very popular and successful northeast Governor. He passed on that Senate seat he would have won rather easily and flipped Red. I think he makes a run. But how does he play in deep red south? Maybe he splits the middle.

You just sound, act and think like them, but apparently you're still in denial.
TDS will do that to the weak minded...LOL
I sound and think like them.....to you.....
because I loathe trump and everything he represents. While people like you claim you don't really want him anymore as your lips are firmly planted on his ass.

Policy positions mean little to you anymore as long as huff and puff and call people names.......and act you have a freaking clue about where I get my information or formulate my opinions. You label people according to your beliefs, then repeat it over and over without listening to a GD thing they say. You and people like you have no interest in compromise or governing in the conventional sense. Just win. Piss off.

Serious question will you vote Republican in 2024 as long as Trump isn’t the Republican?
Not necessarily. If DeSantis grows a spine and stops parroting trump I would consider him. He's more than qualified. But right now he plays to the far right because he sees that as the best way to the WH. Maybe that's really who he is. IDK.
I would prefer a principled republican in the Reagan mold. That ain't him right now.
I would seriously consider Cheney.

WOW, @BuilderBob6 How intently were you staring in a mirror when posting this? I hope you had sunglasses on to cut the glare. What is it like in your world BuilderBob?

I agree that we need another Reagan. I’d like to see Trump policies without the Trump drama

Interesting rant Bob. I believe you were the one that called me a name. I don't believe I called you one, but you're always making erroneous assumptions. Most of your post is loaded with erroneous assumptions, but you believe you know everything.

I've said on this site many many times that I liked Trumps policies, but I wasn't a big fan of him as a person and I've elaborated why. I do not want him to run again.

Bob, based on what you say here and how you justify it, it's not too hard to determine the sources of your information. It's not rocket science.

Gosh Bob, you seem to be labeling me according to your beliefs. So you can do that, but others can't? WOW

How much compromise and governing have you seen out of Biden, Pelosi & Schumer? The Dems have been steamrolling the Reps for decades and they're finally growing a spine and fighting back. Everything that the Dems have been doing is associated with grabbing as much power as possible. They wanted to stack the SC, get statehood for DC & PR and they're trying to pass voting legislation to ensure they have a stranglehold on power forever. If it weren't for a couple Dem Senators, who want to preserve the Republic, the power grab would have succeeded.
That's your "Just Win" Party...

Trump is definitely less foreign involvement and less open borders and more protectionist on trade but he is for strengthening the military like Reagan.
whoopdy doo. One out of four means he isn't like Reagan right? Not to mention Reagan was willing to negotiate, compromise, made clear moral judgements about our enemies among many other differences on policy and leadership traits.

Strengthening the military has become a campaign talking point with trump (We were running out of bullets) but Reagan was about a strategic approach to national defense and security.........and using it to promote democracy. Trump wants a big, powerful military because he sees it as a reflection of himself...........its all about appearances. His love of and desire for military parades is the perfect example.

LOL - That's like voting for the Republican version of Biden.
This is why I know you’re full of shit (you too, SD). These are the only two with any spine in your party who actually value the CONSTITUTION (and Mitt) and aren’t bowing down to one man. This is where your Metamucil-fueled old man rants fall short. You post four paragraphs of nonsense but have nothing to say. Why don’t you like these two? They’re anti-trump, but they voted WITH Trump the majority of the time. So they also agreed with his policies. You just don’t like them because they put country over party.

Bob, In over 73 years, I've never seen anyone have as visceral a hatred for someone, as you have for Trump. It's really unhealthy and I'd suggest you get some professional help to deal with it.

It's been 14 months, since the election and you still have steam coming out of your ears, when you think about him. At this rate, you're going to give yourself ulcers or a heart attack. As much as I like poking at you and teasing you about TDS, I am concerned that your obsession will affect your health.

This honest to god might be the greatest example of the pot meeting the kettle ever on here.

I'll take a parade any day over Biden's mess. Only took him 1 year to mess up Europe

You are doing some serious projection of your beliefs on Trump's motivations. You've still got TDS BAD...

Change the topic, that's your thing.

Now you're even linking Bill Maher, who has been eviscerated on this board. Do you agree with him on trump or just pick your spots?

What policy of Desantis plays to the far right? Florida is a pretty purple and he is extremely popular. Florida is not Wyoming. But I am really interested in what policies you consider "far right."

They weren't voting country as much as they were showing disdain for Trump. How did it help the country, when they voted for the Impeachment? Did it bring us closer together or divide us more?

Establishment Republicans like Cheney, Crying Kinzinger and Romney hated Trump, because he was more interested in helping people in our country, than feeding the Military Industrial Complex by getting us involved in needless foreign wars.

They were putting Establishment Republicans over country.
