December 8th Moore

Brohm will cobble together a decent OLine, and start whipping that football around the yard, this rebuild is about to explode!!
I am starting to think there may be a few young OL that Brohm held back to ensure next season could be better given he had two transfers this season. Not saying they would have been stellar this season but likely not quite ready to contribute...but given the year to RS, night surprise some people.

I think a grad transfer likely comes in to solidify a spot though still.

Good point, these RS guys had all year to work with Coach Lovett, all year to observe and learn this intricate Offense, we could have some RS starting, I think Evans with a off season to train with Coach Lovett will return great results.
You are right IMO, that CJB will get a 5 year guy or 2, to compete for a starting job, I think the Offense will be fine.
Defense, some work to do there, but these Coaches are good, youth movement prolly!

I think that Beach is going to be a really good OL for us.

I clicked on it and it says you have to be a VIP member to get the scoop. If anyone has access please share.

That's odd if true. Texas seeing the writing on the wall? Or going after bigger fish? Either way that would appear to be good for us.

Somewhat big news here. So apparently Rondale never got a home visit from any of the Texas coaches. And Rondale isn't too happy about this. So hopefully that home visit from our coaches will pay off
Forgot to add that they visited another WR instead

Don’t think you should’ve shared this here.

Texas has been recruiting over Moore the entire time, committing higher recruits right after they got Moores commitment. Look at who they are targeting and you can follow on twitter to connect all the dots. With Twitter the information is easy to find if you are willing to do a little bit of research. Coach Leisz posted yesterday that coach Hermans was in. Coach Leisz is Jaylin Waddle's coach and Waddle is Texas' top priority. Alabama was also in to visit Waddle, but it's clear Texas has made him a priority. They already have two higher rated recruits committed. Moore doesn't post much, so it's impossible to say if he has had an inhome visit or not, but I haven't seen anything saying he has. Coach Brohm has gone on several visits to commits as well is working on prospects. He has done a fantastic job!

Everything I have heard points to Moore not even fully decided. He follows some Purdue folks and has removed some Texas pictures. I think he really wants to go to Texas but Purdue has been visiting him and made him a clear priority. As it stands, he is still committed to Texas, until that changes, Purdue is in the back seat. This isn't an easy choice for that young man, but Purdue has a lot of potential to be the best move possible. Nothing in front of him and clearly Purdue wants him. I think he recognizes how good CJB is. It doesn't hurt that CJB's dad coaches there and we are all in on Arak. I like our chances, but nothing is given here. Texas is the favorite by default because he is currently committed.

Anyone have info on how it went
He may have traveled to Purdue on the 8th and the staff may have paid for his hotel to ensure he was here to get the full experience of an entire recruitment day on a Saturday rather than waiting for him to arrive Saturday later in the afternoon after traveling. That being said, his official visit would start the 8th BUT would actually run until the 9th.

So he pretty much just arrived here and hasn't gotten a tour or whatever they do. And is paying for a recruits hotel legal?

Yes. There are varying degrees of what a coach can and is willing to pay for:

  • The school can pay for the following for you and your parents/guardians: transportation to and from the campus, lodging throughout your visit, three meals per day and three tickets to a home sports event.
  • At all levels, recruits can take only one official visit per school.
  • Each official visit may be up to 48 hours long, or the span of one weekend.
  • Official visits cannot be made until the opening day of classes your senior year, no matter the division level.
  • Official visits are not allowed to occur during recruiting dead periods.

it should be an interesting weekend with Bonner also visiting and all the buzz about Taylor.
.

I was under the impression that Rondale was not visiting until the 15th, but Arak McDuffie was visiting on the 8th. Are you guys positive that he is visiting this weekend?
