Well yesterday I went 2-2 in my picks.......

I had Michigan over Illinois (correct), Iowa over PSU (wrong),IU over NW (Correct) and Minny over O$U (wrong).

I want to try again and ask what others think and here are my picks for today:

1) Wisconsin over Michigan: Should be a good game with lots of offense.
2) Purdue over PSU: Will be a grinder but we pull away in second half
3) Maryland over IU: Again lot's of offense and little defense
4) O$U over MSU: This one will be a physical battle and sloppy and close game but somehow Russell puts O$U up at the end

That leaves:
1) Wisconsin vs Purdue
2) Maryland vs O$U

Who do you all have winning today?

Purdue, Maryland, MSU,....and on a weak limb, Michigan...just because ..so there:)

Then we can play Michigan and start the 3 game fatigue thread again. Though it would be 2nd game vs 3rd in that situation.

Thanks. I appreciate that especially if I can draw a chuckle.

And your post was #3333. Don't you have to sacrifice a frog or something now?

Like you, I went 2-2. I missed on IU and Illinois.

Today, I think Purdue wins but it's not going to be an easy win. State is playing as well as they can, and that win over Iowa was huge for their "mo" and for Iowa's now declining ranking. While I won't come out and predict it, Michigan might upset Wisky, but I'm going with Bucky until they lose. I'll go with Maryland because I think they're playing much better, but it will be a close game. I think the OSU/MSU game might be one of the best of the tourney and I'll go with MSU but would prefer the Bucknuts come out with a win.

Here is a stupid question, why does a team who has to vacate a win not give the other team that they played the win also?

EDIT: sorry for context I was digging around for info in other threads and noticed that the first Big Ten tourney in 98 we were runners up, losing to Michigan, which later had their season vacated. Was curious then why were aren't considered gaining that win? I mean I kind of understand, but it still doesn't make sense. If the one teams loses the wins, why don't we gain them?

On a vacated win, the vacator does not "lose" they just don't get a win so the previous loss should not become a win because the loser did not win but should also be removed as a loss as if the game never occurred.

Yeah, I get that, so the winner doesn't get a win and the loser doesn't get a loss, I guess it just is kind of weird when you think about championship games because say you go to the Final Four and then the championship game, and lose to a team that's vacated the championship. Some teams like to float that runner up banner or whatever and to have the game never exist like that, it's almost like the loser is getting penalized too after the fact. So if we didn't lose the championship game or win the championship game... Were we not runners up?

EDIT: I know this is random at this time, but hey, better than fatigue talk eh?
