1) points in the paint by committee. Great sign with Dakota and Stephens hitting threes...but threes come and go (ask IU).
2) related to number 1...Octeus can't wait until last five minutes of the game to attack the rim. He needs to come out aggressive from the start of game Saturday. To a lesser extent RD needs to pick his spots as well. For whatever reason in East Lansing he spent a lot of time just standing around the perimeter.
3) AJH - remember what Painter told you right before the season turned around...."focus on making the simple play". Starting to drift out more...and take more shots outside 3 ft. That is not his game. The close shots he missed in East Lansing...several of those plays will be fouls in Mackey. Keep shooting those shots. Efficient offense (less is more)...and Big 10 DPOY type domination on the other end.
4) Don't assume the game will be called the same as it was in East Lansing. That was a one time deal to accomodate Izzo.
5) Bryson has done well...but in JO's last game in Mackey he needs to be on the floor big minutes.
