Dakota practice interview

I just watched the Dakota interview from earlier today on Twitter. The guy is smart, confident, serious and straightforward in his answers. Seems older than a 2nd year guy. Some guys come across almost goofy shy when they are in front of a camera, not him. He impressed me with his demeanor and maturity.

 

[PU pit bull]

I know that there were some who wondered about his ability, athleticism, etc. early last season. But then by the time they realized that this kid was injured and behind conditioning wise for most of the year, he was starting games for us. Kid will become a coach on the floor type player who will show that same demeanor Gemstate was talking about, when the chips aren't falling in PU favor. I love these gym rat, high IQ, team players. Oh yeah, he's not a bad shooter either......

My favorite thing that he said was that he wants to handle the ball more.
