This guy is literally becoming more of a douchebag every day.
My sources say Dakich is a pathetic has-been looking for attention.
Dakich used to be really good at his job, now he’s turned into a shock jock looking for attention, it’s a shame, he’s good enough to not go down this route.
Nah, he's a Boiler through and through. He's worshipped on campus, Momma Edey could win a mayoral election in West Lafayette and he loves his teammates. It's the NBA, overseas or Purdue.
Maybe he isn’t even listening to them but there are most definitely big money offers for him. Everybody has a price.

Dakich has turned into a highly political shock jock. He’s trying to stay relevant by being part of the anti cancel culture crowd. I don’t care about his politics, he used to be a good sports info guy, now he’s turned into the National Enquirer on the air. For someone against cancel culture all he does is complain daily, poor Dan this, poor Dan that. I’ve sat next to Dan at a Purdue/Mich game, he was awesome to sit next to, treated me great, seeing him turn into this is sad for me, I really think he was good at his job, now he’s looking for clicks.
I would say the same if he was a far lefty, got no time for that stuff, give me the things he used to be good at. He’s all about the clicks now, trying to keep his head above water with his madness.

I try to stay up on political viewpoints. (No doubt both sides politicians are pure evil power grabbers btw.) But I had no idea about DD. Guess I was behind on that guys leanings. Thanks for the info.
He’s a region guy, I’ve listened to his podcasts, I stopped awhile back because he’s turned into a why me/Curt Schilling type. Dan used to be very complimentary of Purdue and knowledgeable as well, he’s went shock jock now, his Twitter will tell you the way he’s going now. As for the political viewpoints, it’s easy to tell where folks stand, no problem with it unless it becomes most of what they want to talk about, Dan’s become overbearing.
I tend to agree with Dakich on some of his political leanings and I STILL cant listen to him. He’s just not interesting when he’s talking about anything other than basketball.

I agree with him on some stuff, he’s playing the victim card now though, it gets to be to much. I used to love politics, now common sense on both sides doesn’t seem to occur, extreme’s on both ends scream the loudest, it’s made me sour on things. One thing I like on here, most of us are on the same page regarding our love for Purdue hoops, going to lead to my demise one day lol
Yes, different world these days, Social media has taken over the lives of many, all about the clicks. Dakich in this case tried to break a story, how about asking Edey first? I’m sure he has ways to get a hold of him.
