Nope. Not unless you thought he was good before this game. This is just an example of how, if the guys follow the plan, they will win big games. Painter wasn't any different last night. Owens' plan wasn't any different. The execution was different. Painter isn't coaching up Basil and Bryson more in the last two games than he was before....they are just finally playing the way he wants them to. Think about it....

Bryson: Played hard-nosed defense (although in foul trouble because you can't touch Kevin Farrell). Didn't force more than one shot (it went in). He didn't turn the ball over. Tons of energy.

Basil: No jump shots. Havoc in the passing lanes. Keeping guys in front of him. Scoring when it presents itself. Tons of energy.

This isn't magic....this looks like guys finally bought in.

These are the guys Painter recruited. Once they play the way they're being asked they'll turn into the best versions of themselves.

When some threes start to fall....LOOKOUT!
