Cradle of Quarterbacks

The Cradle of Quarterbacks is still alive but the problem is two of our good ones are playing for Florida and LSU. Appleby looked really good on Florida's first drive.

People get too sappy about these guys. Blough is waaaaay better and has far less of a supporting cast.

It would be nice to have them still on the roster but all it would have done this year is muddy the waters and keep Blough from getting the reps he'll need to get better through the next 2 years.

Blough was far from perfect but he took some positive steps this year and has 2 more years to play and improve. If we get a guy like Brohm, Blough will look that much better next year.

The last time we had a QB improve like this through the year was Elliott in 2009. Blough is a legit gunslinger now.

Malone was fine. Not the best, not the worst. As good as our offense has looked in a long while though...but that's not saying much.

The Brohms coming here will make us forget about any of our last few OCs though
