Cowboy's Dak Prescott makes a game blowing bone head play!!!
Actually the Cowboys OC called that play in, and McCarthy approved it.
I'm betting the OC didn't say "Dak just hand the ball to the center at the end of the play. We don't need no refs involved."
He did, he said it’s practiced that way and the center is supposed to get it placed in the right spot and the ref just needs to tap it. I think the issue was the ref was about 20 yards back and had somewhat of a delay in his sprint to the line of scrimmage it’s almost like he didn’t expect they were going to try another play.
You almost need to tip off the ref to what you’re doing beforehand.
It was a risky play. Should have been better than a 50% chance it takes the ref 7 or fewer seconds to spot the ball. Dak is lucky the defense didn’t pile on him and take a few more seconds to get off him. I put the blame on the coaches, very questionable call.
Agree. Although i rarely see NFL players slow the player from getting up. It isnt like they are pullling a willie fells against ND.
Or at least he should have threw the ball out of bounds before he went down as a lateral
Wut. They weren’t at Purdue at the same time. It was pender and king. Williams and brown
Williams was a really good player. Concussions derailed him. IMO, he would have played in the nfl.
I thought he was better than Brown, who has carved out a nice career for himself, even though lots of Boys fans hate on him.
