Utah and NC State were his other P5 offers. Solid pickup.
Although Rivals only has him as a 2-star, looks solid with that offer sheet. His speed is evident in his highlight reel. He was often behind the defenders. He also showcased good punt return ability. 247 lists him as a 3-star and also doesn't even list us as a contender. Crystal ball says Syracuse 100%.
The foundation for a decent team is starting to come in to place. I'm trying to contain my optimism and be realistic, but it's getting more and more difficult.
No these recruits aren't "world beaters" but they are the first step of many to get us back to being a solid program again. If we get to a bowl this year, I (and I imagine all of us) would be absolutely ecstatic and pleasantly surprised.

That's probably because we hadn't offered at the time of their predictions and they don't have anyone who covers Purdue.
With his offer sheet, it's a really good sign that it only took him about an hour to commit after being offered. Players want to come here and play for Brohm.
They should be happy too on here, because Iowa offered him. There was a discussion on another thread about our verbals not holding Big Ten offers.
