Are all over the place? 10 Big Ten teams are projected NCAA tournament teams(Net) Illinois, Maryland, UCLA, Ohio St., Michigan St., Michigan, Purdue and Wisconsin! Bubble(Net) Iowa, Nebraska, Northwestern, Indiana and Rutgers! Only 2 BT teams have more than 1 Quad 1 wins, Oregon 4-1 and Purdue at 3-2. Both those teams have played the toughest schedules. ESPN has Illinois, Purdue, Michigan St., Maryland and UCLA winning the Conference at 13-7! Have Illinois favored by % over Purdue 37.6 to 22.4, yet has Purdue as a 3 seed and Illinois as 11 seed??? Of the top 10 teams only UCLA and Penn St. have Quad 2 Losses, 1 a piece, Michigan is the only team in the top 10 to have a Quad 3 loss!

And OSU with zero quad 1 wins and 3 losses is ahead of purdue in the NET when purdue has 3 quad 1 wins and only 2 losses both of which are quad 1.

More INFO: All BT teams have 18 games to go in conference. Michigan St. looks to have the toughest road to go playing 11 games vs the projected BT tournament teams, of those 6 home 5 on the road. Illinois and Michigan are next with 10 games, both with 6 home, 4 away. Wisconsin seems to have the easiest with 7 games, 3 home, 4 away. Oregon plays 9 games, but only 3 home and 6 away! Purdue and Maryland seem to have 2 and 3rd easiest schedules, Purdue is 4 home and 4 away. Maryland is 3 home and 5 away. Just for your joyful INFO: The team with the most NIL to waste has 13 games against the top 10, 7 home and 6 away! OUCH!!!
I just watch the games and hope for the best. To me our squad looks like a 16th to 18th ranked team
Fair assessment, IMO. Plenty of upside and untapped potential, but will it gel this year.....we shall see.
The offense is going to have to lead and remain efficient and hope the defense makes enough stops and hangs tough on the boards. One good thing is they'll have seen just about everything from opponents by the end of the season.
