If he is as productive as Mike was, we are going to do pretty well with this verbal.
Looks to have a solid skill set base to work off of. Looks like he might fit the mold of that OLB/DE hybrid that Danny E was this last year after a red shirt year. Appears to have good pop in his hips when making contact and finishes tackles to the ground. Can't stress enough though that he will need a red shirt year to gain size and strength as he lacks that right now but at 6'3 and 215 as a junior, he could easily play at 6'3 240-250.
I'm not very familiar with Indiana high school football. Can somebody add some words about his school Mich City? Is it a big successful program? Are there other players he's friends with at his school? I've often said the biggest recruiter is the players themselves.
They play in a decent Conf up here in Northwest IN (Class 5A our second largest class football) play solid teams.......actually they had one of their better years at 9-4. Lost 3rd round of playoffs. Don't know anything about teammates.
