Hell yeah!!!! Guy's going to be in total beast mode all year long. Predicting 17 and 10.
Very smart decision. Happy to have you back Caleb!via twitter
You mean a Biggie Like buttonI may have to print out a big LIKE button and send it to Caleb.
I was starting to think that he was gone, but I am very glad that he is returning. This is a huge summer for him because, if he can clean up his mistakes, he has a chance to be a force next season.via twitter
Before analyzing NBA early entry.....and spring additions ....ESPN had Purdue ranked 16th next year. Purdue added Spike in spring and both early entry candidates returned.Big boost for us next year. Borderline top 25 team that can get better instead of a borderline bubble NCAA team IMHO.

Safe to say that Purdue will start out the season solidly in Top 25. Time will tell where they finish.
Don't forget about Kostas.
You're confident but I'm not sure that he'll be a Boilermaker. It sounds like he wants immediate playing time but I'm not sure that he would get significant PT battling for minutes with VE, Smotherman, Taylor, and Swanigan, along with the possibility of three-guard lineups (Thompson, CE, Albrecht, Mathias, and Cline all play into that) being used at times.
He won't get significant playing time at any high major program.
And if Peters doesn't go to the NBA, why would he transfer here? He'd only go somewhere where he'd be a sure-fire starter and can improve his NBA profile, but our front court is loaded.
You're confident
I agree with the ratio but slide it up the scale a notch. I feel they could be as good as last year without Biggie. Just my optimism shining through I guess.Big boost for us next year. Borderline top 25 team that can get better instead of a borderline bubble NCAA team IMHO.
Purdue is a hell of a lot more likely to get Kostas than Peters, Lee or Blossingame. You're confident but I'm not sure that he'll be a Boilermaker. One thing that is a near certainty is that when Haas is out of the game we are going to see a different type of motion offense than when he is in the game. With either Taylor or Biggie you are essentially getting another 4 on the offensive end. The defensive side is where it will dictate that Swanigan guard the 5. I don't see many occasions where it is VE, 3 guards, and Taylor on the floor.it will be interesting who comes in for haas. will it be taylor? will they do like the first few games last year and insert biggie there? both haas and swanigan need to work on defensive foot work as they both got used underneath when the opponent was quick. neither has as yet the blocking ability of hammons. lots of talent, hope we get it figured out and play up to potential with no early exit in ncaa
