I couldn't believe the colts defense couldn't stop the lions at the end. That was absolutely pathetic. Same old defense.

Nice of Chuck to call a timeout on Colts final drive to save the Lions some clock and all three of their timeouts. Somewhere Danny Hope was saying "Great call, coach." Still, you have to expect your defense to be able to keep them out of FG range in 37 seconds. Colts D was a sieve all day, couldn't stop simple screen passes from turning into big gains, no pressure on the QB either. At one point, Detroit was averaging 5 yard gains on first down. Didn't help that the offense didn't clock in until right before halftime either. Going to be a long football season (again) for those of us who are Purdue and Colts fans.
