Why can't this team finish out a game up 5 points choke it away. Painter we should hit free throws. Why can't we get the ball in from a press. Why can't we prevent a team from running down the court.

While you're questioning everything about Painter's coaching, who was it that got this group to buy in and finish where they finished? Young team vs. veteran team. In what was basically a home game for the Bearcats.

What I'm most disappointed with Painter about is he kept letting the shoot and miss threes.

2 things that have to be a priority next year:

Free throw shooting (has been a regular liability for the past three years)
Inbounding and getting the ball up the court against pressure

Lol he recruited the guys had a pretty good team that shit the bed at home 2 times.

Painters team consistently choke in close games. None of his teams know how to break the press. Poor free throwing and poor defense down the stretch.

There is no worse shooting team in the tournament than Purdue. At some point players have to make a couple wide open shits or, call me craxy, FREE THROWS. I don't blame Painter. These arent bad players, they just are bad shooters. That's absurd to think about, considering anyone who grew up in Indiana played ball and can hit free throws
