Mercer has had a ton of injuries this year - 11 different players have started at least 4 games is the stat I saw about a week ago.

McCasland from North Texas has got to be one of the favorites for the Texas Tech opening, and he might have other options to move up if not TTU. If that does happen, Lutz to North Texas (moving to AAC next yr) would seem to be a very logical step for both parties.
