• It was a great game but “that 2nd Q… Whew!” (Laughs)
• After the 2nd Q they deserved the win
• 1st Q was great so going into the 3rd Q we were only down by 7
• Our composure in the 3rd Q was great
• I thought JT (Terry) was great making plays down the stretch and Hardin was put on the post and guarded her butt off
• It was a team win, not just who was on the floor for us but our bench was locked in
• We stayed calm and poised - I know there was a little something in the 4th Q (the technicals) but we stayed calm and poised to the end
• In the 4th Q I got in Madison’s face a little for her “to be Madison” and she responded. “Good to have her back”
• At half time I challenged them to stay composed… In 2nd Q we weren’t going into the paint.
• We didn’t think they could guard us off the bounce and wanted to keep the ball moving side to side.
• The message (at halftime) was that even after the 2nd Q we were only down 7
• When this team can put 4 Qs together, they can do some things
• The two things we challenge our team for is (1) not to turn the ball over - we had 10 - and (2) not to give up offensive rebounds - they only had 4
• If we can do those two things we are going to win some BB games
• I like the makeup of our team and I have confidence in our staff.
• After we lost to West Virginia (on Thursday) we stayed together. We had a great day yesterday - we bonded and hung out together. We had a good team walk-thru
• They busted their butts and for everything they’d been thru in the last 2-5 months, they deserved this.

Katie has won 5 games already with Sharon's players, so this bodes well for when Katie is able to get some of her recruits on board!

Really like the confidence she speaks with, but I love how much credit she gives the team even more.
