Do you think Ross understands what it's like to live paycheck to paycheck? Does he understand these people might have trouble qualifying for a loan? Does he understand how long it would take for these people to get approved.....and then get the money?

Lol good old fashioned anecdotal response. I can get by just fine so why can't everyone else? Yes, we should promote people living paycheck to paycheck to put everything on credit and hope they get some income before the bill comes...what could go wrong there.

If you can't recognize that the response from Ross and Trump are at best unsympathetic and at worst cruel and dangerous...then I don't know what to tell you. I'm sure if Obama told the country to just take out loans and Max their credit cards people would have been just fine with it...

My son, Purdue grad, father of 2, lives in California, works for large defense contractor for 8 years. He is the one who told me. Me, I am 62, I have not had a refund in 30 years. I work straight commission, I pay in every quarter.

Then all of the issues on what/where it was being spent were realized, and politicians, even Dems, got cold feet when it came time for re-election. That said, Trump could have likely got a lot of what he wanted in an infrastructure bill his first two years but did not. Do not see it happening now. If politicians are suddenly giving a crap about $5Billion for a wall, do not see a trillion dollar plus infrastructure bill getting through.

They’re giving a crap about $5b because it’s a total waste of money. Give the $5b to other border technology and it would probably sail on through. (Also, Mexico was supposed to pay for the wall anyway, remember?)

As for Boeing, the onus is on them to prove the planes are safe. Given what has come out with the approval process as the plane was initially being built, I have zero problem with a white hot light being on them at the moment.
