Clinton stealing Trump economic positions

"Notice Clinton said "targeted tariffs." She didn't go into detail, but that could become a key phrase.

Experts have criticized Trump for saying he wants to impose tariffs as high as 45% on ALL goods coming from China. They say it's the wrong response because it hurts companies that do play fairly. Even worse, such a sweeping tariff would likely trigger a trade war that would sink the U.S. economy into a recession and cost millions of jobs.

Both Republican and Democratic presidents have levied tariffs against foreign companies in the past. For example, President Obama has imposed a hefty tariff on some Chinese steel imports."

I find it very humorous how quickly Libs and the Press immediately jump on Trump's blanket comments like levying a 45% on "all" China imports, keeping "all" Muslims out of the country, and deporting "all" illegals. Successful negotiators always keep their opponents off balance by not letting them know here they really stand and are willing to accept before negotiations start. I have negotiated many deals over the years and had the most success when I am able to keep the other people off balance. Trump has said many times that he knows he will have to negotiate whether it is with Congress, China, etc.

Clinton's comments are simply following her normal pattern of catering to every voter on every issue. I'm sure she I'll continue this tactic as she has in the past. She has already changed positions many times over the years.

Meet Hillary 4.0.

So how would that translate to being a successful candidate running for public office, if voters don't know where they stand either?

I guess all prior years of accolades and support of bill and Hillary was just a really long play by DT, keeping everyone off guard ?

lol Trump makes wild all in statements, that everyone knows won't happen, can't happen, would be devastating, and he's just "keeping his opponents off balanced."

Clinton makes reasoned proposals that Presidents of both parties have done in the past, and it's "catering to every voter on every issue."

It's hilarious.

I t is pretty sad and pathetic is what it is. Bernie was far to the left, wanted single payer and free college, he did well in polls. Clinton then wants that. Trump has been calling for tariffs over a year, Clinton is now running versus him, and guess what? She now mentions tariffs. That is why the comment she caters to everyone. Not hard to see.
