What are the effects of the China trip going to be? Without a doubt, the playing time for the newcomers will be invaluable and a great head start to the 2017 season. We are also getting 30 practices leading up to the WUG’s and that has to help as well.

Are there any downsides to this much work over the summer? Fatigue, injury, something I can’t think of? I hope not. I would really like for the team to use this summer as a spring board to dominating come November.

Yes lots of positive and negative.......but mostly positive stuff will come of this trip.

You touch on most of them......

The one I worry the most about is the travel to a foreign country with the USA logo target on the back.

Crazy world we live in these days.....I know when I travel overseas now I do not advertise I am American, but it is obvious because I am 6ft 1in Blonde Hair Blue eyes and about a 7 inches taller than everyone in Asia.

I guess I live by the saying "no fear" but their is still the reality of things.

Boiler Up...excited to see this team grow together and perform.

My carry on has a Canadian flag sticker on it , Gives off a different vibe . I am hearing the extra practices are giving the new players a leg up on switching man to man defense . Which many if not all first year players struggle with because of its complexity . Also it has allowed the seniors to assist the first year players on a personal level . Its all good !

You could tell people you are Swedish. I also travel the world but oddly enough I am asked a lot where I am from. I would have thought my accent would be a dead give away.
