That was brutal. CBS just showed Painter talking to the team, some had towels over their heads, many tears, and no one and I mean NO ONE really wanted to put hands in the huddle or even huddle up. This hurts and I think it was inappropriate of CBS to do that. Don't like that at all.

Probably to show how tough it is to go thru an entire college basketball grind of a season and have your season end in a very tough fashion?

How tough it is on players who's college careers have come to an end?

Purdue should never allow this to happen again. Strange, seems like CBS would have wanted to pick teams that would have gone further, but maybe they wanted to show the loser aspect to it as well. If so, can't blame them for choosing CMP.

I just saw it too. It shows the reality these kids face. Very sobering, but I really had no problem with it. Showed some class too I think. MP gave credit to LR's players which they deserve. Life isn't always a bowl of cherries. Why they showed it is because Purdue was one of about half a dozen schools which CBS agreed to do a behind the scenes piece on throughout the tournament. I guess it will end for us tonight.

Purdue had an excellent chance this tournament to really improve its brand and perception. We were one of 5 teams that CBS is going to follow closely throughout the tournament. We had a chance to showcase our program and perhaps help recruiting, etc. There is also an AT&T commercial with huge Purdue overtones. All that got flushed today. Sad, we had a shot at the big stage and couldn't pull it off.

It's not your team, so why worry? MSU plays tomorrow.

It was hard enough to watch the end of regulation, much less the end of both of those overtimes, do i have to see CBS show the locker room. Every one of those kids were snake-bitten, deer in headlights, sullen, shaken, mystified, broken, beat, shell-shocked, paralysed, miffed, baffled, and thoroughly disgusted to have to listen to a losing coach there at the end. If that's what they asked for in being a guinea pig for CBS, then so be it, but a little vomit came out when I had to watch it.

Exactly! NO MORE KEADY TREE COACHES!!! Spend some money, Morgan Burke and get us a coach that comes from success!

Honestly, I don't feel a bit sorry for Painter or any of the players. They should be embarrassed. They should feel like crap. They had a job to do and (once again) they did not do it. They choked. They crapped in their bed, so let them sleep with it.
