Only question i have, is looking at where he's been, his age, and what he was expecting, and the only other offers he had ........ and the fact we're trying to get a commitment from a different Cb via the portal, was he offered a scholarship? or preferred walk-on status ??

So he was a freshman but has one year of eligibility remaining due to the junior college years? And I wonder what the waiver for an additional year might be from? Maybe injury or Covid?

Really like these kinda moves in the portal. Purdue has always had impact players. The problem has been that there’s always been some weak links.. like the OL this year (though it greatly improved).

contrast how this affects Purdue.. who has a chance to make sure they have Big Ten level players at every position with power programs who already have that OR teams like Nebraska and Indiana who are so far behind they have to start chasing. That’s a recipe for taking a lot of the wrong guys
