Do you guys recall a posting about 4-6 months ago that identified April as causing trouble on the team and being very negative toward SV? Supposedly she was actively recruiting against Versyp, telling recruits to go elsewhere. Captains are elected by their teammates, and are rarely the negative types. Here we see April as captain this year - congratulations April!

This old posting about April was by a poster that has never reappeared on this board as far as I know. I suspect there was some catty behavior going on, and we were subject to lies by an unethical member of this message board. It may be a good lesson in not believing everything that is posted here, even when they claim to be an insider.

I think that's just a good rule for life in general, not just on a message board.

I don't know that I agree that it would be unlikely for a malcontent to be voted captain (I've often seen people who were very discontent somewhere still be very popular with their peers) so I'm not sure this completely refutes anything but I never really cared much if it was true to begin with or not.
