Darrell Hazell said he asked for two offensive and two defensive SENIOR-ONLY selections and then allowed one non-senior pick. That non-senior pick could supersede the senior pick.
So, essentially, Ja'Whaun Bentley was locked in as that any-other-class vote. A guy like David Blough, for example, never really had a chance. Bentley is THE captain on this team. He wasn't going to be left off.
