I think you better look at that pic more closely ....illusionThose temporary raised courts scare me when active players like Basil race to save a ball heading out of bounds. Normally they just have to jump a table or crash into some fans, but here it looks like they'd fall four feet to the floor. Not good....
I hope it's an illusion. How do you in bounds the ball from the side?I think you better look at that pic more closely ....illusion

Doh! Too small a pic until I went to bigger screen and blew it up...you're quite right. Now I can look forward to Basil leaping over a table or into some press guy.I think you better look at that pic more closely ....illusion
Inbounding the ball for the sideline wont't be an issue unless you are BigfootI hope it's an illusion. How do you in bounds the ball from the side?
That is an optical illusion. Look closely at the corner and you see it is on the floor and the black scorers tables are raised. I had the same first impression. Those temporary raised courts scare me when active players like Basil race to save a ball heading out of bounds. Ya stand on the blue stuff and throw the ball towards the lighter colored stuff!!!I hope it's an illusion. How do you in bounds the ball from the side?
Ha sad but true I guessHave you seen Haas on the opening tip? The next one he wins will be the first.
Flashback to another Thanksgiving holiday tournament in a tropical location and similar environment: I wonder if Basil is working on his Chris Kramer swim move to save the game should we end up facing Bruce Pearl's Auburn team in the final? That's still one of my all-time favorite plays for Purdue basketball (and at the expense of Pearl's Tennessee team).I would like to see a game in that environment. Probably very odd to play in though
Man I would love to have Kramer back.Flashback to another Thanksgiving holiday tournament in a tropical location and similar environment: I wonder if Basil is working on his Chris Kramer swim move to save the game should we end up facing Bruce Pearl's Auburn team in the final? Me too, but he would foul out in the first half now!Man I would love to have Kramer back.
With the rule changes you are correct. I hate them myself because it's forcing college basketball to be a NBA farm league.Me too, but he would foul out in the first half now!
Unfortunately talking heads like Bilas keep pushing the agenda even more every chance they get. Not surprising that rule changes/enforcement favor loaded teams like his Dukies! He would like to see a game where no contact is made whatsoever. I know I'm not going to win this one, but a guy can hope!!With the rule changes you are correct. Ballroom turned into a basketball arena. Would be a great place to watch the Boilers. Tried to get the whole extended family to go this year for Thanksgiving but elderly parents couldn't do it so we decided against it. Maybe next year at Atlantis???
Honestly, I always enjoyed watching a game where Chris Kramer played in. Hopefully Smotherman keeps up his hustling play too.I'm planning on attending the Atlantis trip next year-have always wanted to go and now I have a reason.
